Embodied AI for Robust multi-modal Perception and Learning

Eligibility

Enrolled or received MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Systems and Control, or a related field from top international universities.

Strong theoretical background, and practical experience in AI, Robotics and Machine Learning​

Good programming skills in ROS2, C++ and Python. Knowledge of Nvidia IsaacLab is a plus.

Publications in leading conferences and journals will be favorably considered.

Proficiency in English is mandatory.

Integration and deployment of multi‑modal sensory information and perception (digital signal processing, pattern recognition, embedded systems architectures, communications), integrated with foundation models and probabilistic AI approaches, for robot-environment and human‑vehicle interaction.

Contributing to the development of next generation of the intelligent interactive vehicle.

Collaborating with an highly specialised international team of AI/ML and robotics scientists and engineers.

The Research will be carried out at BMW Ai-Robotics Lab & RoboTac team, BMW Center of Invention, Munich, Germany.  

Stay in a BMW apartment (subject to availability & only Munich).
